30 Days Drawing Challenge

During the last 30 days, we had a very fun challenge organized by Service Design Show, by

Marc Fonteijn

and

Giovanni Ruello

. Each day we got a word related to the service design area and 6 minutes to draw an idea. The 6 minutes were split into 2 parts: 3 minutes for warming up, think about some concepts, sketching some drafts, and 3 minutes for the final sketch.

They provided a useful canvas that helped a lot in the process. The first 3 minutes are quite effective to put your brain in drawing mode and exploring ideas and options. After these 3 minutes, drawing the final sketch was easy!

I made a quick and simplified version for printing:

It was fun, it was inspiring and a good excuse to doodle every day. When you have the setup ready and some inspiration, it’s easy to engage and draw every day.
